We are KRMA Whakatane and was first established back in 1994. Three Instructors had decided that it was time to give back after spending many years in their own differents journies. The decision was made to join together and form their own unique style and forms.

Henare Kokiri, Jacko Ta'ala, Shamrock Gay combined all their years of training with their own unique style.

Much of the training is both Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing orientated. Karate played a significant part with both Kyokushin & Shotokan styles covered.

Although two of the founding members have moved on, Henare Kokiri still oversee training to this very day. Joining him and being involved heavily in the fighting game is new instructor who has been with KRMA for over 12 years now is Graham "Blood" Lyford.

Blood brings in a vast knowledge in the boxing arena. 

Many students have been quite successful competing both at National/ International level, with some coming away with World Titles.....so come on what are you waiting for, "GIVE IT A GO"....
